Sweet Sixteen

My Daughter

No, I’m not talking about basketball.  Tomorrow is my daughter’s 16th birthday. We won’t be doing the Aristocratic Southern Tradition of the Shoe Ceremony.  She won’t be getting a tiara.  There won’t be a Father-Daughter Dance.  What there will be is a limo taking 8 guests and the Birthday girl in “look at me” fashion to get their hair done in the newest “extension” style.   They will then imbibe in gourmet yogurt (is there really such a thing?) while showing off their new hairstyles in the way only 16 year old girls can.  As they drive through the streets of Keller and Ft. Worth tomorrow in Mob Daughter style, tip your hat to a special day for a very special daughter.  Mine!
